The MB-SKYLINE TYPE-R sliding balcony door system with thermal break is designed for the manufacture of exterior architectural elements characterized by high thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as excellent resistance to water and air infiltration.

Key features of the MB-SKYLINE TYPE-R system:
- installation depth of sash profiles: 71 mm (for double-glazed units)
- installation depth of frame profiles: 190 mm (for double-glazed units)
- the sash is flush with the frame in both vertical and horizontal sections
- the profiles feature a three-chamber design, with the central chamber acting as a thermal insulation zone
- visible width of the vertical profile at the sash overlap: 25 mm
- door operation options: manual operation – sash weight up to 500 kg; automatic operation – sash weight up to 1200 kg
- drives and control units for automatic operation are concealed within the frame profiles, allowing easy and unobstructed maintenance
- installation of the automatic drive outside the structure is also possible
- the double-glazed unit is the main load-bearing and structural element of the system
- glazing thickness range: 52–60 mm, depending on the type of seals and sash profiles
- low Uw thermal transmittance values achieved through the use of double-glazed units
- the connection between the sash and the insulating glass unit is made using DOWSIL structural silicone adhesive
