Types of glass:
Advantages of frameless glass doors:
- doors can be single- or double-leaf; to ensure silent operation, door closers are installed, providing smooth opening and closing. Single-leaf models are the most common option and offer good sound insulation
- swing (pendulum) doors are ideal for entrances to shopping centres, stores, offices, etc. They open in both directions and are therefore most often used in areas with high pedestrian traffic
- sliding doors are an excellent way to save space, as they do not require additional clearance. They are suitable for both narrow and wide openings. The opening/closing principle is similar to sliding wardrobe doors and they are most commonly used in offices
- curved (radius) doors feature a leaf with an arched shape that moves along specially designed guides. Bending technology is used in the manufacturing process
Glass panel decoration options:
- tinting – pigment is added to the glass melt during production to define the colour of the glass; additionally, pyrolytic coatings, films, and tinting layers may be used. Such glass is very strong, as it is tempered during manufacturing
- pattern application – using UV printing, engraving, or frosting, virtually any design can be created on the glass surface
- frosting – provides privacy while maintaining light transmission
Access control systems:
- electromechanical locks
- magnetic locks
- mechanical locks
