MB-79N CASEMENT

The MB-79N Casement outward-opening window system with a thermal break is part of the MB-79N system and is used for the production of exterior architectural elements, such as various types of windows, entrance vestibules, shopfronts, and spatial structures.

The system is characterized by good thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as high tightness against water and air infiltration. It also meets energy efficiency and environmental protection requirements.

  • Air permeability

    class 4

  • Water tightness

    class E 1800

  • Thermal insulation

    Uw from 0,74 W/(m2K)

  • Wind load resistance

    class C5/B5

Depending on requirements, we offer three design variants of aluminum sections with different technical parameters:
E variant (basic), ST variant (with a two-component central gasket), and SI variant (with additional insulating inserts inside the chamber between the thermal breaks).

System features and advantages:

Construction depth of window sections: 70 mm (frame) and 79 mm (sash). These depths create a flush interior surface after closing.

The profiles used in the system feature a three-chamber structure, with the central chamber acting as an insulating chamber of 36 mm and 35 mm width, located between the thermal breaks.

The system provides high thermal insulation thanks to the use of EPS insulating inserts placed in the central chamber of the composite section.

High resistance to water and air infiltration and very good thermal insulation are achieved, among other factors, by the special shapes of the single- or two-component central gasket (with a porous insulating part), as well as glazing gaskets and closing-zone seals.

Large permissible dimensions and weights: up to 1400 × 2700 mm or 2400 × 2500 mm, with sash weight up to 180 kg.

Excellent window kinematics ensure reliable operation of operable units with sash widths starting from 270 mm.

Solutions are available for balcony doors with a convenient low threshold, as well as renovation frames.

Most gaskets (e.g., glazing gaskets and external rebate seals) are installed continuously, without cutting at the corners; gasket ends are joined at the midpoint of the top frame transoms.

The central gasket is cut at 45° and bonded at the corners, or cut at 90° and bonded to a rubber corner element.

A vulcanized-frame central gasket option is also available.
This installation method guarantees excellent water and air tightness.

Glazing thickness range:

Frame: from 1.5 to 54 mm,

Sash: from 10.5 to 63 mm.
The wide glazing range allows the use of all market-available glass types, including single-, double-glazed units, acoustic and burglar-resistant glass.

The use of standard Euro-grooves for hardware allows installation of widely available fittings for outward-opening aluminum and PVC windows. For scissor hardware, frame sections without grooves are used.

MB-79N Casement windows can be equipped with concealed scissor hardware or traditional visible pivot hinges.

Profile drainage can be manufactured in a concealed or visible version with a decorative cover.

Composite profiles can be powder coated or anodized.

Section connections are made, as in MB-79N, with minimal machining, using aluminum connectors included in the delivery set and additional system accessories.
