It offers two rebate options: Type A frame – partially covers the sash, Type B frame – fully conceals the sash, perfectly imitating fixed windows. The external surfaces of the glazing units installed in operable and fixed fields lie in the same plane. Thanks to a special adaptive profile, it is possible to use frames and glazing beads from the base MB-79N system in windows with a concealed sash. The MB-79N US system enables the production of large-size and heavy windows. Like the base MB-79N window system, these constructions are characterized by high thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as excellent water and air tightness. The system meets all energy efficiency and environmental protection requirements.
Features and advantages of the MB-79N US system:
Construction depth of window sections: 70 mm (frame), 79 mm (sash).
Profiles feature a three-chamber structure. The central chamber acts as insulation between aluminum profiles and is formed by shaped thermal breaks with widths of 33.5 mm or 36 mm.
The window sash uses an innovative, reinforced multi-chamber thermal break, highly resistant to deflection.
The system allows window production in three thermal insulation variants, analogous to MB-79N. MB-79N US E – the most economical solution with a single-component central gasket. MB-79N US ST – version with a two-component central gasket. MB-79N US SI – the highest thermal performance version, featuring additional insulating inserts in the thermal break zone and a two-component central gasket.
Very favorable Uf values of window frames place this system among the market leaders in its category.
High resistance to water and air infiltration is achieved thanks to the special shape of the single- or two-component central gasket (with a cellular insulating section) and the glazing beads.
Closed-type glazing beads, available in both Standard and Prestige versions, ensure secure fixing of infills and significantly facilitate the creation of burglar-resistant constructions.
Internal glazing gaskets are deeply embedded in the glazing beads, making them almost invisible from the interior.
Maximum sash dimensions: Hs max = 2.7 m, Ls max = 1.7 m; maximum sash weight: 160 kg.
Glazing thickness range: frame: from 1.5 to 44.5 mm, sash: from 12 to 52.5 mm. The wide glazing range allows the use of all commonly available double-glazed, acoustic, and burglar-resistant glass units.
The use of standard Euro-grooves for hardware enables installation of most commercially available fittings for aluminum and PVC windows, including modern concealed hardware such as Winkhaus aluPilot.
Windows can be equipped with handles with a visible rosette or without a rosette.
The MB-79N US system is compatible with other Aluprof systems, especially MB-79N, allowing many components to be used across multiple systems, such as glazing beads, gaskets, hardware, and most accessories.
