MB-SR50N PL

The MB-SR50N PL system, known as the “Horizontal Line”, is an aesthetic variant of a mullion-and-transom façade in which the external appearance emphasizes horizontal or vertical divisions.

This effect is achieved through the use of appropriate cover profiles (e.g. elliptical ones) that highlight the selected direction of the façade division. On the lines perpendicular to them, the glazing beads are omitted. Where required, connectors between infill panels can be used on these lines; they are concealed with so-called silicone joints or special gaskets, making them invisible from the outside.

As with other façade variants, the MB-SR50N PL construction can incorporate tilt windows or parallel-opening windows without altering the external appearance of the façade.

The MB-SR50N PL system is used for the construction of lightweight curtain walls of suspended and infill types, as well as roofs, skylights, and other spatial structures.

Its load-bearing structure is based on the modern and proven aluminium mullion-and-transom system MB-SR50N, which offers a wide selection of profiles and allows such profile configurations that enable cladding of the mullion and transom surfaces from the interior side of the façade. Thanks to this, the façade can be aesthetically integrated with the building’s interior elements.
