MB-118EI
The MB-118EI fire-rated wall system is designed for the construction of fire-resistant partitions with a fire resistance class of EI120. The system is classified as fire-protective (NRO).
Its structure is technically linked to the MB-78EI fire-rated wall and door system, with which it shares many common components (such as glazing beads, cooling inserts, intumescent strips, gaskets, and most accessories), as well as the same manufacturing and installation technology used in the base system.

The MB-118EI system is based on thermally insulated five-chamber aluminium profiles with a construction depth of 118 mm. Fire-protection insulation elements are inserted into the internal chambers of the profiles as well as into the insulating spaces between them. In addition, intumescent (expanding) strips are installed on the external surfaces, and the entire structure is reinforced with steel accessories that connect both parts of the profiles.
The infill thickness used in partitions of the MB-118EI system ranges from 48 to 84 mm. Thanks to its symmetrical structure, constructions made within this system maintain a fire resistance class EI120, both in the event of fire exposure from the outside and from the inside.
An important feature influencing the functionality of these fire-rated partitions is the possibility of integrating MB-78EI fire-rated doors into the system.
The MB-118EI system has undergone technical approval by ITB No. AT-15-9186 / 2013.
