MB-OpenSky 140 – pergola system
MB-OpenSky 140 is manufactured from extruded aluminium, ensuring long-term durability and high structural strength.
The use of an innovative profile fastening method with specialised pins provides excellent system stability and clean, aesthetic joints without visible gaps.
The roof consists of a module with movable louvers equipped with a mechanism that allows smooth adjustment of the tilt angle along the axis from 0° to 135°.
The louvers are fitted with special seals that protect against rainwater, while the drainage system integrated into the posts ensures efficient water runoff through gutters and downpipes connected to the stormwater system.
The product meets the requirements for resistance to snow loads and strong wind gusts. The pergola can be freestanding or wall-mounted using a dedicated console that also allows wall insulation. A double-bay version is available, making it possible to increase the usable space. Tests have shown that for a pergola measuring 6 m (length) × 4 m (width) × 3 m (height), the permissible snow load is 200 kg/m², which corresponds to approximately 100 cm of snow cover, with wind loads of around 95 km/h.
The pergola can be installed either as a freestanding structure or as a wall-mounted solution with a special console that enables wall insulation. A two-bay version is also available to further extend the usable area. The maximum dimensions of a single segment are 7 m (length) × 5 m (width) × 3 m (height).
The well-designed construction of the MB-OpenSky 140 pergola allows the use of side screens, such as fabric blinds or glass sliding panels MB-OpenSlide / SkyRoll. This makes it possible to create a unique atmosphere in close contact with nature, regardless of weather conditions. Additionally, the system can be equipped with LED lighting, designed to integrate seamlessly with the roof louvers and heater. The lighting solution includes LED strips and spotlights installed in the roof louvers, as well as optional perimeter lighting.
